Cardel UltraBright – UB1

Cardel UB1 UltraBright lamination plates provides a finish with our highest gloss levels that ensure that the end product manufactured with them inherits an Ultra Bright glossy high quality finish when they are used.  Polishing of the steel generates a very slight polish direction grain which is barely visible to the naked eye.

Highest gloss

An ultra  high gloss level (1200+ Gloss Units) is provided to ensure that end products produced with them are of the highest possible  gloss level and cosmetically appealing to the end user.

Lowest roughness

Cardel UB1 plates have very low surface roughness values to ensure highest end product quality and brightness.

Health & Safety

Cardel UG1 plates are supplied with deburred edges and rounded corners for H&S reasons

Cardel UB1 is a bright high gloss (both sides) mirror finish plate with a barely visible light surface direction and no grain lines. Cardel UB1 plates are available in a range of thicknesses and sizes with or without matt grip borders as required.

Cardel high quality lamination plates are produced to demanding specifications and closely monitored in production to ensure consistency of Gloss level and surface Roughness order to order / batch to batch.

Cardel customers use our UB1 plates to produce a wide range of cards for Banking (Mastercard, Visa, CUP), security (Identity, Driving licence, Passport), commercial, loyalty, smart and contactless for transit and many other end usages.

In-house quality checks are regularly made to ensure we are supplying products of the highest quality. Lamination plates are delivered with protective easy peel PET coating to protect them during transit and ensure that removal can be made by our end customers without leaving a surface residue. If a customer requests it we can also despatch with foam interleaving only.
