Cardel Ultragloss – UG1

Cardel UG1 Ultragloss lamination plates provide a non-directional finish with very high gloss levels that ensure that the end product manufactured with them inherits an ultra glossy high quality finish when they are used.

High gloss

A high gloss level (950+ Gloss Units) is provided to ensure that end products produced with them are highly glossy and cosmetically appealing to the end user.

Low surface roughness

Cardel UG1 plates have very low surface roughness values to ensure end product quality.

Health & Safety

Cardel UG1 plates are supplied with deburred edges and rounded corners for H&S reasons

Cardel UG1 is a high gloss (both sides) mirror finish plate with no visible surface direction or grain lines. Cardel UG1 plates are available in a range of thicknesses and sizes with or without matt grip borders as required.

Cardel high quality lamination plates are produced to demanding specifications and closely monitored in production to ensure consistency of Gloss level and surface Roughness order to order / batch to batch.

Cardel customers use our UG1 plates to produce a wide range of cards for Banking (Mastercard, Visa, CUP), security (Identity, Driving licence, Passport), commercial, loyalty, smart and contactless for transit and many other end usages.

In-house quality checks are regularly made to ensure we are supplying products of the highest quality. Lamination plates are delivered with protective easy peel PET coating to protect them during transit and ensure that removal can be made by our end customers without leaving a surface residue. If a customer requests it we can also despatch with foam interleaving only.
