UR (UltraRough)

Cardel UR (UltraRough) plates are manufactured with a high quality matt finish that provides a coarse look and feel to the card surface. The surface roughness of the end products produced from the plate has a higher roughness level than the Cardel UM plate and are used extensively in RFID Prelam manufacturing.

Cardel UR plate finish offers increased roughness of surface finish to support high bonding strength of RFID prelams to card constructions during lamination.

Consistency

Cardel manufacturing processes and equipment ensures that batch to batch / order to order the plates are consistent in appearance and performance

The UR rough surface finish to the plate is highly consistent from order to order to ensure that the visual quality of the final products does not vary when the plates are changed out.

A variety of non mag stripe and card applications are suitable for the plate including RFID Cards, RFID prelams, Inlays, bespoke cosmetic cards.

Cardel high quality lamination plates are produced to demanding specifications and closely monitored in production to ensure consistency of surface Roughness.

Cardel UR plates are supplied to our customers interleaved with foam sheets to protect them from scratches in transit and secured in robust, fumigated wooden crates with side openings to allow easy removal of the plates on opening

Available Thickness:

  • 0.4mm to 1.0mm. (industry standard is 0.8mm)
