Cardel USDS Lamination Plate

Cardel USDS (UltraSilk Dye Sublimation) plates are manufactured with a high quality silk finish that is receptive to Holograms, Thermal printing and Dye Sublimation printing while providing a premium look and feel to the card surface. The glossiness of the finished surface is slightly lower than the Cardel ISO plate which is preferable for some Cardel customers.

Cardel USDS plate finish has a surface roughness that is still compatible with Hologram application while ensuring that Thermal, DoD and Dye sublimation print quality is sharp

The USDS silk surface finish to the plate is highly consistent from order to order to ensure that the visual quality of the final products does not vary when the plates are changed out.

A variety of applications are suitable for the card, and are not limited to the following: banking (Mastercard, Visa, Union Pay), security (Identity, Driving licence, Passport), commercial/loyalty, smart and contactless.

Cardel high quality lamination plates are produced to demanding specifications and closely monitored in production to ensure consistency of surface Roughness.

Cardel USDS plates are supplied to our customers interleaved with foam sheets to protect them from scratches in transit and secured in robust, fumigated wooden crates with side openings to allow easy removal of the plates on opening
