Cardlam™ C200 lamination pads offer smooth, progressive controlled heat and pressure transfer characteristics for all types of plastic card lamination for optimum laminated card quality.

Temperature Profile

Smooth and progressive heat transfer through the lamination stack reduces the potential for edge distortion of the laminated sheets.

High compensation

The C200 pad construction ensures that pressure across the lamination stack is equal in all areas.

Lamination quality

The smooth heat profile along with the pressure compensation properties work together to reduce lamination flaws such as lakeing / frosting.

Cardlam™ C200 is a composite lamination pad that is designed to ensure hiqh quality lamination of all types of Credit, Bank and Loyalty cards.

The performance of the pad ensures:

  • Smooth control over heat and pressure distribution (Hot and Cold stages)
  • Excellent pressure compensation qualities.
  • Good durability – typically 2000 – 4000 operations.
  • Compatible with all types of high volume laminators.
  • Easy handling – suitable for tilt table systems.

C200 is Suitable for all types of medium / high volume twin stack laminators and is also used extensively in single stack laminators producing lower volumes.

C200 is proven to assist in the elimination of lakeing, frosting and significantly reduce edge distortion that can occur in card lamination.

Material construction:

  • Aramid Fibre outer layers with High performance rubber formulation in the centre

Typical Applications:

  • Manufacturing of all card types other than Polycarbonate

Product lifetime:

  • 2000-4000 lamination cycles (subject to usage environment)
