MLI/ CLI – highly precise lenticular lenses as fine as 60µm are manufactured to extreme accuracy to create a personalized flip image that contains variable information.  

Raised / Inlaying textures – intricate design elements that create an image integrated into the overall card design. Clever details and high resolution plate making further contribute not only to aesthetics but also the document security.

Microtext – fine lettering with font sizes as small as 100µm, barely readable to the eye. Precise manufacturing is crucial to ensure every single letter is properly formed and free of even the smallest defect.  

Latent Image – When looked at directly, latent images are almost invisible. Tilting the document in different directions or waving it around will reveal up to three monochrome visual features alternately. The image views are generated by the special layout and overlay of very fine, parallel line grids and special shapes directly on the card’s surface. It’s only when the light hits it at an angle that these generate glossy and shadowy areas that produce the image.  

VTT Iconic – In plain sight it is fully invisible, yet when inspected against a single source as simple as the LED on your phone it creates an image easy to recognize but impossible to copy. The image creation is done fully in house and can create a variety of images and effects such as dynamic movement.  

VTT holoPHOTIC – When the card’s viewed from different angles, different colour iridescent areas appear on the surface of the card, which interact to show the visual feature in its entirety  .

Modifying the card surface with nanotechnology produces hologram-like reflections with no extra substrates or steps required. 

VTT MDI – Tilting the document in different directions or waving it around will reveal different effects and types of motion. To achieve this feature, diverse shapes of lens fields can be created to suit preferences that have different angles. Several visual features can be revealed for each field. With appropriately matched underprinting, highly complex impressions can be generated.

Raised dams for passport datapage – One of the key issues of producing a plastic datapage for passports is the solution for the hinge so the sewing area of that datapage: flexible, but durable with no additional process.
